Honda CR-V Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I’ve been seeing some Honda CR-Vs on the road here in Houston, Texas and have taken a liking to owning one for myself. Just wondering, Honda always mentions the Real time 4WD on the CR-V. What is it all about?
Bridget
Houston, TX
Hi there, Bridget! I am sure that grabbing a CR-V for you here in Houston, Texas is a great idea. I think it is great choice for daily urban driving and occasional drives on rough roads. You asked about Real Time 4WD.
Since you’ve only seen the car around and been attracted to the styles, my guess is that you won’t be too particular if the car is 2WD or 4WD. Just to fill you in for your benefit, 2WD means 2-wheel drive while 4WD just means four-wheel drive. For daily driving on well-paved roads, I think 2WD is already perfect; the engine just powers a set of two wheels of the car. Four-wheel drive vehicles are typically associated with off-road driving, yes, the kind you see on sports TV, with mud flying everywhere. But, yes, this technology has also been adapted for vehicles available to us normal drivers. The four-wheel drive originally had a switch in the vehicle, from 2-wheel to 4-wheel, and had a low and high setting to adapt the vehicle to the road condition. Real time 4wd is different because the car doesn’t have that “switch” anymore. The switching is all done automatically by the car. The driver need not bother him or herself with switching from 2WD to 4WD.

2008 Honda EXL AWD Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I am about to sell or trade my Honda Civic here in Houston, Texas. What SUV should you recommend from the recent Honda line up?
Katie
Houston, TX
I was able to get the 2008 Honda EX- L all wheel drive for a whopping $24,700 last month in Houston, Texas as well. What I did was to swap my Honda Accord and added about a few more thousand dollars. I am a Honda patron ever since and already had 3 Honda sedans prior to this SUV. I assure you that the switch is really worth it. Coming from a prestigious car manufacturer, The Honda EX-L AWD sells itself like hot pancakes. The leather seats are fantastic because they are all heated. The XM Radio really works fine with the Honda Pilot. You certainly will have that feeling of a smooth and sweet driving experience.
Honda really knows how to sell their products by manufacturing top of the line and high quality vehicles. That’s what I realized when I first thought of getting an American car instead. But something changed my mind and that is the product excellence offered on this amazing SUV. I fully recommend this model because it would give you a great deal of excitement and savings. By the way, I also recommend this website for getting the best deal on car insurance as well. With just a little patience, a good research and a pinch of luck, you too can get the best deal when it comes to Honda EX- L AWD.

2009 Honda Pilot Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I have read a couple of reviews about the 2009 Honda Pilot here in Houston, Texas. What gives it more edge over the Honda Element?
Carl
Houston, TX
I give my recommendation to the new 2009 Honda Pilot. This is the SUV most Honda aficionados have been waiting for. I can say that it is a remake of the Honda Element with much more feature in store for you. If the Honda Element had more rounded shapes, this new Honda Pilot has more squares in it. The Honda Pilot is much bigger than its counterpart. One more improvement is that the front view is now marked boldly with a unique grill. It has daytime running lights which provide added safety factor especially during dawn driving around Houston, Texas.
The Honda Pilot’s driving mechanism is really impressive. The acceleration power is really good. You may have minor issues with the aerodynamics, but that was too minimal. Parking may also come a bit inconvenient because the Pilot has a big body. One advantage though is that you can see the road better since it is indeed big in size (well especially for my size, I am only 5 feet 5 inches tall).
Overall, the as compared to the Honda Element, I can say that the Honda Pilot is a big match for the Element, much bigger in size and space and definitely effective for long family trips. I also recommend having insurance for this big SUV since you might be using it a lot. You can look up some of the existing rates on this webpage.

2009 Honda Pilot Preview Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I just consulted a car dealer here in Houston, Texas and got a good deal for the Honda Pilot. What are the good and not so bad interior features of this SUV?
Jay
Houston, TX
If you are the type of person that likes to carry round lots of stuff, the Honda Element will best suit your needs. Aside from several bottle holders (to keep you hydrated on those long weekend trips around Houston, Texas), there is also a small storage compartment in the 3rd row seats that actually looks like a glove box. Most of the storage compartments are neatly tucked away but accessible should you need to open them. The leather is not so thick or not so rough. The driver’s seat has a nice adjustable lumbar support, and all the back seats were either folded flat or in an upright position.
There are other great features for the Honda Pilot such as the automatic lift gate that goes up with one push of a button. The glass hatch comes in very convenient because it can be opened and closed separately for short reaches. It comes with a built in net to hold small items for easy access. And if you need to put larger things at the back, the net can be easily tucked away which gives way for larger object on the 3rd row. Aside from that, it also has a DVD player, USB Audio interface, XM Satellite Radio, Premium Audio System, Bluetooth Hands Free Link and even a Navigation system. Certainly, this SUV is fully loaded with great options. And should you decide to get the Honda Pilot, I also suggest that it should be matched with an affordable insurance. I once saw an ad on this website for some affordable rates.

Honda Pilot Performance Houston Texas TX
Reader’s question:
I am very curious about having the Honda Pilot here in Houston, Texas. Despite its large size, how would you describe the driving performance of the 2009 Honda Pilot?
Jason
Houston, TX
The Honda Pilot is not a flyweight with its large size and weighs 4,600 pounds. The 250 horse power powerplant is something that rocks. Considering the rising fuel costs, the mileage had me a bit disappointing. But I think that it would be so because the vehicle is still new and was still breaking in. I should have known that I was one among the first few to drive it. I should get more mileage as I spend more time driving it. I also think that if only the edges were a bit rounded, without the space being sacrificed, the aerodynamics and fuel would come a little cheaper and can cause a big savings in terms of consumption.
Its size, as not really that normal for SUVs, is the main cause for the vehicle’s reluctance to stop on a quart, but in return, it would do something wherein you really have to allow if for a stop and go with other driving conditions. Imagine yourself inching your way on a traffic street in Houston, Texas.
With all these conditions, I don’t have any doubts about the Honda Pilot’s performance. It has a steady and efficient drive, and accelerates effortlessly. Plus the comfort that you have from driving to one destination to another. I see it as a solid vehicle that I can count on especially when I am with my kids and wife. I am confident driving it because of the safety it is built with. All these plus carrying all the stuff the entire family need. Also, I also suggest that aside from its heavy duty characteristics, try looking around this site for an affordable insurance that would best come with this vehicle.

Honda Pilot Touring Edition 2009 Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I am thinking of reserving a 2009 Honda Pilot here in Houston, Texas, about how much would it cost me and is it worth a purchase?
Simon
Houston, TX
Considering the heavy duty attributes of the Honda Pilot, this vehicle’s price is no joke. The Touring Series costs around $38,000. Always remember that the Touring Edition is one of the latest and entirely the brand newest model in the Honda Pilot line up. It has the nicest price for an SUV with a quality like this. If you are looking forward to spend less for a Honda Pilot, you can choose from 2 lower lines in the family that is pretty much the same but less the blings and accessories.
Honda’s prestige when it comes to safety is manifested in the Pilot. It was already given a 5 star approval by the NHTSA for both the side and frontal impact safety ratings. In addition to that, it is fully equipped with safety features which includes but not limited to Vehicle Stability Assist which senses over and under-steer, then either reduces throttle restoring the intended travel path. The 4 wheel disc brakes which come in ABS and also available is the Electronic Brake Distribution. The Honda Pilot also provides excellent defense in cases of a crash with its Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE). The solid body structure absorbs and repels crash energy reducing shock from within. Added safety gears are the front and side impact airbags for the passenger side and three-row side impact curtains for your passengers, as well as a rollover sensor. This will give you and your passengers peace of mind when riding in a Pilot.
Having these attributes, I can say that the Honda Pilot is an Ideal family vehicle that could take you and your family anywhere in Houston, Texas without worrying too much of the discomfort of long travels. And take note of the confidence you’ll have driving this SUV with its strong built. Just be sure you tie it up with a perfect insurance. See the latest insurance premiums on this web page.

I want to get a Honda SUV in Houston TX, what do you recommend?
Julienne
Dallas, TX
Personally, I do not want untried stuff, which is why as I looked around Houston Texas Honda dealerships, I was attracted to the Dallas Texas 2008 Honda Pilot. It positively met my standards-a very popular name in the average sized SUV market, it had a dependable status for being a reliable and superiority van. I knew a small number of people who had it, and so I was decisive to get a possibility by not taking any likelihood and sense safety in my option of the Houston Texas 2008 Honda Pilot.
Well, appearing back from only two months in the future, I can promise you that my selection was correct. I will not call for to be visiting any more Houston Texas Honda dealerships before long, in view of the fact that my roomy, relaxing, and safe Honda 2008 Pilot is keeping me extremely content. I went on a camping excursion the previous week, and I took seven friends, two tents, an ice box, sleeping bag, and a lot more-and we were not overcrowded. I really adore this car.

Reader’s Question:
I am looking for a Houston Texas Honda Dealer. Can you tell me what kind of van I should get?
Sandy
Houston, TX
Thank you for your question Sandy. If you are searching for a van from a Houston Texas Honda dealer, in that case I have a number of recommendations since somebody who lately got one. You need to get the Houston Texas Honda 2008 Odyssey. The Honda has been manufacturing several of the most excellent minivans for a long time, and this year they do not fail us, making available one more model of the Odyssey which provides average sized families rightly. I have been driving my 2008 Odyssey for a couple of months now and I have until now was not able to discover any troubles with it. There is no catch.
What I am fond of the 2008 Odyssey I bought from a Houston Texas Honda dealer was how tailored fir it was. I was able to increase my sitting capacity to fit eight, and there was such a magnificent assortment of features that my children are not at all uninterested when we are driving. Further than that, it is as well a superb drive. It runs effortlessly, gathers speed perfectly, and has superior security ratings.

Reader’s Question:
How is the new Houston Honda Accord? Is it worth buying?
Kendra
Houston, TX
You really obtain a sense for the form and class of the brand new 2008 Houston Honda Accord in the television advertisements, which captures one more pace up the hierarchy of upgrading which its model has been persistently hiking seeing as it first approached out years ago. The stuff that formulates the Houston Honda Accord only one of its kinds is not that it is fashionable or dependable, but that it is equally at the same time and until now does not compromise any feature.
Still for the average sized sedan or coupe that it is, the Accord still has an authority afforded typically to better vehicles, and handle at the same time to figure out its energy in a means which will set aside you cash on gasoline and carry on you running for a an extensive time. Comfy and roomy, the stuff that I observed about this year’s Houston Honda Accord is that it has become even more so, plus that there are also a little more tank engine preferences. What’s more the four or six cylinder performs excellently, but I chose the six.

2007 Honda Civic Hybrid Houston TX
Reader’s Question:
I just got my first bonus paycheck and I am looking forward to buy myself the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid here in Houston Texas. What can you say about its engine and transmission?
George
Houston, TX
The 2007 Honda civic Hybrid will only cost you about $22,000 excluding any of the special add-on features. If you’re going to buy a hybrid with features such as the Satellite-Linked Navigation System and fog lights and stuff like that, you’re looking at a $30,000 vehicle. Let’s set aside the price, let me take you into this vehicle and show you what it’s all about.
The first feature on our list is Multipoint fuel injection. Multipoint fuel injection is the system that injects the fuel into each cylinder against the carburetor or throttle body injections which injects fuel at one point in the intake system.
It also has the , Drive-by-Wire Throttle System which enhance engine efficiency while slowing vehicle emissions. The way this is done is it replaces the old throttle control system with an electronic system that is more accurate, needs no oil or service, and does not get affected by outside forces such as hot or cold weather.Enough to withstand the weather of Houston Texas though.
Next spot is the front-wheel drive. This feature literally means the front, rather than that rear wheels move the car. These has definitely got has to do with control and handling.
One more feature of the engine is the Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer . In theory, the advantage of this system rather than traditional ignition systems is that parts don’t wear out and would not cause you problems in the future when you try to start your car.
Another on the list we have is the unit-body construction. This is a system is fuel efficient because it tries to lower the car’s body weight.
This vehicle also comes with, the Mac Pherson strut front suspension which is not better than double wishbone suspension but it’s still better than most. One problem with this is that the wheel actually bends in which effects the sharpness of the turn. Well, at least you get to save a few dollars here because of this feature.
Finally, this car comes with a spare tire like many other cars do just to add that extra feature on the list.
