Q: My Houston TX Honda dealer says they’ll give me better rebates if I finance through them. Should I do it?

A: Of course you should do it. You have to know how to play the system, though. I did this same thing a couple of years back at my Houston TX Honda dealer when I bought a Ridgeline. I saw the commercial that you could get better rebates if you financed through the dealer and thought I would just stick with that, but then after getting financed through the Houston TX Honda dealer, getting my car and everything, I realized that wasn’t the end.

Once you have your rebates and your financing, you can get it refinanced at better rates through an online financer or through a bank. Accept the gift from your Houston TX Honda dealer, and then exchange it.
